Programme Highlights
Beneficiaries
Most of the children undergoing education with heritage values like Scriptures and Ancient Science are not exposed to mainstream education and do not have the basic skills and technical know how to help them do further research and spread the knowledge they have. The children undergoing such education will be our focus to start with. Later this project will be extended to children of any education who are deprived of mainstream education. Over the past 10 years we have collaborated with 178 schools (1200 students) across India and we will be providing this program to all these students and more.
Reach and Teach System
We understand the inability of the children of age group of 11 to 22 years to come out of their Gurukula type of schooling and attend training outside far away from their schools. Hence to reach out to our 178 schools (1200 students) and more schools across India, we have adopted the Reach and Teach System by which our team of employees and volunteers will reach their place with all equipments and train the students.
Wider Employability
The students of this scheme acquaint themselves with employability skills and computer literacy which are absolutely necessary for current day job requirements. With a lot of digitisation and research being done on the works of modern and antediluvian science, a wider employability will be ensured for these children.
Eligibility under CSR
The Life skill education programme is eligible under item (ii) of the CSR Notification to Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013 which reads as follows:
“Promoting education, including special education and employment enhancing vocation skills especially among children, women, elderly, and the differently-abled and livelihood enhancement projects;”
